PHOTO CONTEST RULES AND RESTRICTIONS
THIS CONTEST IS OPEN TO EVERYONE

All photos must:

A) Clearly have either the Mountain FM 102.5 Logo or Mountain 107.7 FM logo clearly

visible in the photograph. (You can print a logo at the bottom of this page.) You must print the

logofrom your computer or pick it up from one of our local sponsor's. Photos must be

taken between June 11th and August 26th. No photos taken prior to June 11th

will be accepted. Photos where the Logo has been "photoshopped in"

will not be accepted!

B) All Photos must be submitted in color.

C) Manipulated Photos will not be considered. (all photos will be screened for any

manipulations). The term “Manipulated photo” for the purposes of this contest will be defined as

“the application of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an

illusion or deception.”

D) Panoramic photos will not be accepted.

E) Our professional photographer will review reserves the right to refuse any photo that

the professional photographer deems to be in violation of our contest rules and restrictions.

F) The use of Tripods or other stabilization equipment is allowed.

G) The use of flashes and other lighting equipment is allowed.

H) Photos with the Mountain 107.7 logo must be taken within 100 miles of Bozeman.

Photos with the Mountain FM 102.5 FM logo must be taken with 100 miles of Missoula.

I) Photos must contain a Mountain, or Mountains, in the photo. For the purposes of this

contest Mountain will be defined as “a natural elevation of the earth's surface rising

more or less abruptly to a summit.

J) Any camera, including cellphones, may be used to produce the photo, but the photo

must be submitted in color.

K) Photos that are taken from a cell phone or other camera that applies any sort of filter

that alters the image in any way will not be accepted.

L) The use of wide angle lenses, or any other lense that manipulates the content of the

photo will not be accepted.

M) The location of the photo must be listed in the appropriate field in the submission

area on our facebook page.
